Dubai De Mehnge Malls Da Sach: Room Ton Leke Metro Te 540 AED Da Shopping Bill!
Author: dxbjass (Jaskaran Pal Singh)
Today was a completely different experience for me. If you live in Dubai or visit here, you already know how luxurious and expensive the malls are. In this blog post, I am going to share how I stepped out of my room to go shopping in Dubai's most famous malls and how my entire experience turned out.
The Journey Begins: From Room to Metro and Mall of the Emirates
Just like any other day, today's journey started right from my room. First, I stepped out and reached the bus stand. From there, I took a bus to the metro station, and then hopped on the metro heading towards Mall of the Emirates.
When you enter a grand place like Mall of the Emirates, the atmosphere is entirely different. Seeing the large luxury brands, bright lights, and long lines makes anyone pause and think. My intention was to buy a nice hoodie and a shirt. However, as soon as I walked inside the store and looked at the price tags, my jaw dropped! The rates there are enough to throw an average person's budget completely off track.
Still, convincing myself, I spent around 300 AED at Mall of the Emirates to buy one hoodie and one shirt. But the story does not end here.
The Trip to Ibn Battuta Mall and Final Bill
After leaving Mall of the Emirates, I thought about checking out another place. I took the metro again and reached Ibn Battuta Mall.
Coming here brought some relief because the prices at these stores felt more reasonable. I could not stop myself and bought 2 more hoodies from here, which cost only 240 AED.
Now, let's talk about the complete breakdown:
- Mall of the Emirates (1 Hoodie + 1 Shirt): 300 AED
- Ibn Battuta Mall (2 Hoodies): 240 AED
- Total Expense: 540 AED
What Did I Learn From Today's Experience?
This whole day made one thing very clear: shopping in Dubai for an average person or someone with a normal budget is not an easy task. Your pockets empty in a single second here because everything is very expensive.
